Freddie’s Joint announced today that home delivery for both medical and recreational marijuana products will begin for the Big Rapids and Mt. Pleasant areas on Wednesday, April 22nd.
Freddie’s is the first marijuana shop in the area to offer this level of service for home delivery to customers.
“During these difficult times we have found that customers greatly appreciate having home delivery for their recreational or medical marijuana needs,” Nicole and Barry Goodman, Freddie’s owners said. “We are very pleased that we can now offer Freddie’s to the Big Rapids and Mt. Pleasant areas.”
“We look forward to delivering the Freddie’s lifestyle to customers and patients,” the Goodmans’ stated. “We’re here to make people happy.”
Freddie’s will be expanding to Big Rapids with a retail shop. It will be located at 840 Clark Street in the former student bookstore building. There will also be additional retail outlets at that location.
“We are making good progress on opening a Freddie’s in Big Rapids, but due to the current health crisis this will take longer than anticipated,” the Goodmans’ added. “Freddie’s will open, albeit a bit later than we hoped.”
Delivery is initially available to customers living in these zip codes:
- 48858-Mt. Pleasant
- 48859-Mt. Pleasant
- 49307-Big Rapids
- 49332-Mecosta
- 49340-Remus
- 49342-Chippewa Lake, Rodney
Freddie’s marijuana delivery service in the Big Rapids and Mt. Pleasant areas will begin on Wednesday, April 22nd and continue Wednesdays thereafter.
“The response to Freddie’s delivery service has been fantastic,” General Manager at Freddie’s, Brett Stephens said. “We will be adding additional areas in the very near future.”
Freddie’s will also be continuing delivery throughout the shut down and potentially afterwards, as the response from customers has been good.
Orders need to be placed two days in advance using the Freddie’s website (freddiesjoint.com). The following information will be required:
- Name
- Address
- Phone number
- Drivers license or State issued identification number or medical marijuana card information
“As a state licensed medical and recreational facility, Freddie’s offers excellent marijuana products to anyone over the age of 21 or having a medical marijuana card,” Stephens said.
Orders must be for $200.00 or more and there is no delivery charge. State mandated limits, 2.5 ounces of marijuana or equivalent product per day, are still in place.
The customer placing the order must be the one receiving the order when the delivery is made. Deliveries will be made between 10:00 am and 8:00 pm.
Freddie’s continues to offer curbside and home delivery at 10092 N. Dort Highway, Clio and home delivery only for the Bay City, Saginaw and Midland areas. Freddie’s is open 7 days a week from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
